Lys Assia 1924-2018
Lys Assia 1924-2018 OGAE is greatly saddened by the news of the death of Lys Assia, winner of the inaugural ESC in 1956, First Lady of Eurovision, and friend of Eurovision fans everywhere. We offer our deepest condolences and sympathies to her friends and family.

ESC ticketing

On 17 November 2017 the EBU and RTP announced that ESC18 ticket sales will begin on 30 November. They confirmed that a number of tickets have been made available to the OGAE network. See Lisbon 2018

OGAE International changes its logo after an international competition
OGAE International has held an international logo competition into which more than 30 proposals have been submitted. 2018 Host City confirmed

Portuguese broadcaster, RTP, have confirmed that Lisbon will be the host city for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. Dates and the actual venue have still not been finalised but will be confirmed in due course.

Congratulations Portugal!
After so many years of trying, Portugal triumphed at the ESC17. Congratulations to Salvador Sobral on such a momentous win. ESC18 will be hosted by Portugal for the very first time, the first new host country since 2012. Preparations are already under way but with dates and a venue to be confirmed in due course.

EuroClub access
Members will be able to attend the official EuroClub by busying the special access passes that re being made available by the organisers. Details should be available from your National OGAE Club, although please note that the website for purchasing the passes has been experiencing some technical difficulties.

The OGAE Poll 2017 is running smoothly after one week of voting. Four clubs have voted, OGAE France, OGAE Ukraine, OGAE Belarus and OGAE Luxembourg.
