Stockholm 2016

The ESC returned to Stockholm for the third time in May 2016 with the Globe Arena hosting the three live shows, and the adjoining Tele2 Arena hosting a huge Eurovision party before, during and after the grand final.IMG_1087

For the first time ever, the OGAE EuroCafé or Euro Fan Café was integrated with the official EuroClub, all housed in a temporary structure built in Stockholm’s Old City adjacent to the Royal Palace.  OGAE members were able to buy special accreditations that gave them access to the EuroClub throughout the two week Eurovision season.image

Around 3000 OGAE members made the journey to Stockholm, with over 2500 buying the OGAE fan ticket packages to the various live and jury shows.  The traditional OGAE party was held in the EuroClub on Wednesday 11 May hosted by Ylva and Linda Persson, accompanied by Shirley Clamp.
