The winner of the OGAE Song Contest 2025 is…..Italy!
Damiano David’s victory for OGAE Italy with “Born with a Broken Heart” means that it’s back to back triumphs for the club, following 2024’s win by Annalisa.
There’s a Eurovision connection too of course, Damiano is the lead singer of 2021 winning act Måneskin.
The OGAE Song Contest, which has been running since 1986 celebrates non-Eurovision songs from across Europe and beyond. OGAE Italy are one of the OGAE network’s most successful clubs, with six wins to their name.
Runners up this year were OGAE Finland, represented by Käärija & BESS, with OGAE Australia taking the bronze medal, thanks to Kylie Minogue’s Lights Camera Action.
